Scuffed my wheels....in under one hour of owning!!!

Picked up my new shiny RR sport AB today. Pulling into my drive for the first time I managed to put a 10cm scrape on one of the front alloys. Absolutely gutted Sad The car had been mine for a full 30 minutes. I could have cried. First world problems....I know, but 30 minutes? Seriously?

Just needed to vent that to get it out of my system. My wife doesn't understand my pain Big Cry On the positive side, at least i got the first scuff out of the way early on! My fault for choosing 22" alloys. At least they are the painted version and not diamond turned.

I know what you're going through - after years driving Freelanders, Discoverys and a Land Cruiser up kerbs and anything that got in my way I bought my first RRS in 2010 and discovered low profile tyres and 4x4s are a bad combination Big Cry

Caught mine first week and had to get 2 refurbished Embarassed Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Still hoping for a S2 one day!

You think that is bad,,,,when I purchased my 22" Hawkes I caught one fitting the tyres,1st time I've ever caught a rim fitting tyres but at least it was my own & not a customers. It was the painted part I caught so I just touched it up with black smooth hammerite & you can Hardley notice unless you know it's there.

I emailed the dealer with my story of woe and they have very kindly offered to repair the damaged wheel for free. Great customer service.
