Car Broken Down After Three Weeks!

Hi All,

Had my 62 plate RRS three weeks and its broken down already!
Started it up to be greeted with "Gearbox Fault" and then stuck in 3rd gear for a couple of miles. Stopped in a laybuy and switched off for a minute. Got the gears back but with management light on all the time now.

Under the new Consumer Act 2015, one opportunity to repair to your satisfaction. If this fails reject the car and demand a full refund?

Car had software updated and no obvious fault, just "Loss of CAN coms" with lots of units.
Car booked in at local dealer to look further and look at trims too.

Hope it is sorted with minimal fuss Big 1.

I wonder if there will be a league table showing which manufacturer has the most rejects
I'm sure Autocar or Whatcar will be keeping a close eye on it. In JLR case, i wonder how often the same car will get rejected by it's many owners....

Tip for the future...
Steer clear of a vehicle you see for sale if it has had many owners in its first year.
