TV controls in rear doors. but no evidence of having screens

My RRS 07 has the controls for the screens in both rear doors, but no evidence of ever having the rear screens. Is this normal, does anyone else have the controls but nothing else?

Yes exactly that, which I believe to be the factory fit for the rear screens, unless I'm wrong?

Are they not just Audio Controls if you have the Premium Sound System or something like that.

OH... Ok, I do have the logic 7, or so it says on the speaker grills... But I haven't really had a chance to play around with it all yet! I don't even know the difference between logic 7 and standard, I assumed it was just a better sound?!

^^^^ as Col suggested they are part of the premium audio system to allow the rear passengers to listen to the media being played - if I remember rightly they also can listen to separate media from the other passengers - driver. If you browse my gallery you will see a picture of my previous Supercharged RRS with the original earphones Thumbs Up

Or look at this thread page 2 Thumbs Up

Oh wow, I've got to go and play after dinner then!! Cool

I guess my front screen hasn't got DVD though as it doesn't give that option on the menu?

Can they listen to something plugged in to the rear aux input independently to what I'm listening to from the speakers then?

Well I'm impressed, I've just been out and had a play, like you say rear can switch between radio and CD, Definitely doesn't play DVDs as thought! and they can't hear anything plugged into the aux, but then that would be worthless as the headphones would plug straight in their devise Laughing

I'm glad I asked and you guys told me or I'd have thought for god knows how long it was just the buttons for rear screens!

Thanks

Yep I knew about the connectors, I plug my iPhone in there, although it's only aux and cigarette lighter socket on mine.

I actually only found the cup holders while testing the rear controls a little while ago Laughing

Thanks Peachy, I haven't really looked at how to do profile yet but when I've had a chance to give the..... errrrm, RRS a good clean and take a good picture I'll certainly add it on here!

It's an 07 TDV8. Stornoway grey with black leather, Logic 7 as I just found out Embarassed Seems to have all the extras I know of other than sunroof and rear screen / DVD, its 100% original, with 20" wheels. Probably not going to mod it too much only with factory options suck as OEM side steps and medium tints.... I may get the colour coded door handles and mirror covers if they are good quality, (I'm looking on powerful uk). and would like to maybe colour code the bottom plastic sills and lower bumpers (maybe) but that's last if at all.

I'm really happy with the condition of mine after looking at 3 other apparently immaculate ones for sale!!

I am one for original looking cars, And I'm also trying to hold off from any engine mods :-/

Strange I thought the up-graded sound system had some RCA plugs in there as well, maybe not, out of curiosity do you have two speakers in the headlining above the rear boot space?.

Cheers
