Give him a break. We are all friends on here. We all know that BM and LR are different vehicles and fulfill different purposes. There are those (I am not one) who feel that an RR makes them feel superior mad is a posey vehicle. The BM is more nimble and perhaps more of a hard ride sport oriented drive. We all like different things and we have different driving profiles.

I have had 2 RRSs and I have had to reject one. Would I have another one? Probably one day. But now I am in the process of speccing an M3 because I want that kind of driving experience.

I did not post for the reasons that you seem to have assumed, and the car was held back by Land Rover not the dealer.

Land Rover did not say why, so my dealer was unable to give me any information.

I have laid out my reasons, whether you accept them or not is up to you.

just out of interest Jimbg was the range rover that you had reliable for you ?

I still have my Black Edition and bought it new in 2013 with the knowledge a new model was due.

I had 2 problems, the disc pads had to be replaced as the factory fitted ones were warped.
I had a loud rattle that turned out to be the boot not latching up tight.

The problem with any marque-specific forum is that it mainly attracts folks with issues with their vehicles.

Yes I am happy and am looking forward to delivery, as you say at the end of the day it is all down to personal choice.
