Yes, not good. We paid for this feature (either by explicitly choosing it or by buying a higher spec variant) but can't use it. With days getting shorter, this would have been increasingly useful. My car is going in tomorrow for the fuel noise issue and this missing menu but I guess garage will only report my case to LR once they have the car. As I knew LR didn't have a solution, there was no point in raising this earlier. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

For your info so long as the car has all the parts fitted correctly at build and its just activation the Gap IID tool can activate this, drop them a line for some help

The dealer will have to request amending of the CCF from LR and this will take if you get it minimum 3 months for someone at LR to re-write your build file on the LR database.

then the upload at the sealer is far from simple on there systems

I switched on TV and traffic sign recognition and lane departure None currently

I wonder if mine (which gets delivered tomorrow) has this feature actually in operation?

I reckon this new consumer law that allows me to return it within 30 days for practically any reason may allow me to have some fun and games here. Maybe I should set LR a deadline to actually deliver my car in line the specification I ordered or I'll return it?

If you have AHBA, your rear view mirror should have a forward facing camera installed underneath.

Very few settings can be changed/enabled in the CCF for MY16 using IIDTool currently. AHBA isn't one of them unfortunately. I did contact GAP requesting that pretty much straightaway. Will follow up with Pat. I do have what looks like a camera where Autobiography is pointing. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

Yes it'll be under the rain sensor. There are two designs - one if you have TSR and one if you have only AHBA.

3 or 4 other customers from my dealership have noted the same problem, " don't worry Land Rover hq are sorting it " .

Just spoke to LRCS.

No timescales as to when this will be fixed. There are no guarantees they will be able to enable this in the future as allegedly the system is not compatible with certain 'software features' on 16MY...

The lady also said that specifications are always subject to change and they are covered on this because it is 'standard' on Autobiography models. Great customer service. Not.

Appalling.

So how about they turn on Traffic Sign Recognition and Lane Departure Warning. Then it should work!
Is this physically possible??

The AHBA-only camera is different to the one that offers TSR and LDW as well

None apparently because it is a standard feature and specifications are subject to change.

I mentioned the rather new strict law which came into play on 1st October about goods conforming to specification and she referred me back to the dealer! Idiots.

She was no idiot as you don't have a contract with Land Rover, your contract for the supply of the car is with the dealership, so the car not comforming to the order should be raised with them and not Land Rover, it is then for the dealership to squabble with Land Rover if they were supplied with a defective product................... doesn't help you I appreciate. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
