No, it rushed passed us under the railway arches where we were admiring FKarim's Carpathian Autobiography and seeing what has changed for 2016MY compared to our 2015's, we couldn't get into the Ace's car park as it was closed for about 12 GTR's and Skylines that appeared for their meet and we had to park out on the street outside. RRSport.cvo.uk had a bigger turnout of RRS's than the GTR guys had when we had a forum meet up there back in 2008! Sorry if you missed us, we actually stayed on until about 1pm too. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Nice to meet you too FK, yes but next time I will give more notice and arrange it with the Ace Cafe owner. RRSport.co.uk has met there before. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

As always, nice to put a face to a name. An organised meet would be great, nice to put them Datsun boys to shame still undecided on the camera install but will have to look out for your install thread fkarim, great looking carpathian BTW.

I preferred black covers on mine like the ones I had seen at order time but when the car arrived with Corris I didn't think it was a big deal. Except that it means there is one more colour (or one more shade) on the car than I would have liked. Having said that, all the blacks on cars with contrast roof aren't the same anyway if you look very closely. Roof metallic Santorini black and pillars etc. a slightly different shade of flat black.

If I do decide to get rid rather than paint, you can have first dibs 2015 HSE SDV6 Scotia Grey, ebony / lunar, colour coded, deployable steps, TV, sliding pano and a few other bits. Now gone

Last time I ran a Scottish RRS meet-up there was tons of interest but in the end only 2 RRS's appeared, there were 6 D3's, a couple of FFRR's, a Freelander 2 and several Defenders! One of the RRS's was my own. Fortunately I hadn't had to go to any expense to run the day out. I have tried several times since to arrange cross-forum meets that are basically a road trip out onto some of the less well known back roads in Perthshire but in the end so few appeared on the day that I was wasting my time. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Jock, I appreciate that as i too live in Scotland, ok not in a remore part, but in the Trossachs area. My nearest dealership is only 20 minutes drive away in Bannockburn and they are very good at servicing my cars, the supplying dealers (who are usually the servicing dealers too) though are in West London, 400 miles away! Also while there are lots of RRS's on the roads relatively few owners are members of forums like this. A couple of weeks ago I had a tradesman visit the house to quote for some work, he asked to look inside my RRS as he has a Disco3 as a family car but it had a long list of problems and was very high mileage and he needed some help to fix them. He had no idea that there was an owner's forum on the internet, never looked. I got a phone call from him last week say thanks for giving the forum details, he had been able to fix most of his issues himself as a result and could now go to the garage that sold him the car and tell them how to fix the couple of other things that needed to be done on a ramp. He also had no idea that there are travelling specialists who would come to him to do work on his sickly D3! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
