Voice control

Picked my new RRS up a couple of weeks ago and am struggling with the voice control. I test drove a HSE and I'm sure the salesman searched for a certain band from my paired iPhone using the voice control. I can't find how to do it on mine .... Was I a imagining him searching bands? 2008 Factory HST- Sold

Unless you can speak like Stephen Hawkins' computer the voice activation thing is less than useful and can drive you round the twist trying to get it to work! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

The bits you can use the voice activation for have worked fine so far just thought you could search for certain songs and bands etc....like you can in a Ford Fiesta but you can't in a range rover Shocked 2008 Factory HST- Sold

We play a game on journeys with the children and talking cars , we all take it in turns asking the car to do something , if the car does what you ask , you get a sweet .

Try different accents...it seems to work better instructing it in a Jasper Carrott brummie accent . Well, Gaydon is just south of the Black Country! A USA drawl from Lousiana seems to work quite well ...one needs to draw out the words...like navigayshun y'all go home now..

If you say, in Barry's dialect from Auf Wiedersehen Pet : Navigayshun go home Dudlaye in an adenoidal nasal manner, it will work a treat!
