Hi All I have a 2012 Autobiography Sport and I wondered if I can get it to display or read my text messages from my iphone 6.
I have been having a read and found that some say you have to turn off imessages but thought I would be best to ask.
Any help would be great on how to set this up if it can be done.

Does this work on your RRS ?

I tend to get more texts than phone calls and it would be good to know what they say without having to stop and raed them on the phone. Lot of Landcruisers now sold

After failing to get any responce on here I sent an email to Land Rover and for anyone who is interested this is the reply.

I can confirm that when pairing your mobile phone via bluetooth to your vehicle, it will not display messages or emails.

It looks like I am talking to myself her but never mind.
I have found that I can get the car to read text through the speekers if I use Siri on the IPhone and Siri will also reply to text through the car system.
The only problem I have now is activating Siri through the car without having to touch the phone. Lot of Landcruisers now sold

Siri was first shown in 2011, so it's unlikely your car has proper software in order to benefit from the in-car integration of Siri (some cars from various manufacturers, mostly MY2014+ spec, relay the long press of the voice button to the phone, as an equivalent to pressing the home button on the iPhone, which in turn summons Siri). However, some solutions come to my mind.
- use this: http://www.engadget.com/2014/08/02/mobile-...o-any-car/ and stuff it neatly on the dashboard side of the steering wheel
- use "Hey Siri" to summon Siri without pressing any button at all (phone needs to be connected to a charger, though)
- press the voice command button on the wheel and say "Hey, Siri". Maybe it would work? Regards etc.,

I have tried the long press but it did not work.
Will have to try your other sugestions and see how I get on.
