Thought I'd stick a piccy on of the new addition. Couldn't stretch to the SDV6 as other things had to take priority. However I found this beauty with only 44853 miles on, full dealer history and timing belt done at 38k. In the last year (between services) it has done 1437 miles. Since the pic was taken I have added chrome fog bezels, chrome headlight washers, chrome door handles and chrome tailgate button and surround. The guy who had it before fitted 22" wheels (no idea of the make) and MTec brakes. Going to have the calipers powder coated because they are letting the look down now. It's the 2.7, but it is in mint condition with barely 'run in' mileage so I grabbed it before someone else did. It pulls my caravan like it isn't there, but next job is a power upgrade.

You do not say what age it is but I would think it will have bluetooth but it may need the module updated.

Its a 2006 model. I'll give him a shout, cheers mate. It definitely doesn't have it. There's no telephone buttons on the steering wheel, but more importantly there is no bleutooth module behind the trim on the rear off side |

Hands free / BT was on option on early cars however all is not lost! I would suggest that you take a look at some of the parrot handsfree systems. They are easy to fit and if you fancy upgrading the audio too then they also make some brilliant internet enabled systems with built in hands free. I had one of their hands free systems in my 1st RRS SE in 2005 and now have a Parrot Asteroid in my Defender. The Asteroid has a wealth of clever apps as well as connectivity that is way better than the OEM systems of 2006/2007 including USB, BT Streaming, SD/XD card holder and built in GPS that can intergrate with Google Maps.......... they didn't have anything like that in 2006! What I have in the Defender has been superceded by a Double DIN unit but they now have this neat little device instead and I see it even has speed cam warning apps etc on it

Thanks Tim, I've had Parrot kits before, a CK3100 and the an MKi9200 so was looking at them earlier on. I think this is the route I'll go again, maybe with an Asteroid this time. |

Not at the moment, and it's lashing down outside now The only thing I'm not sold on is the chrome door handles. I think I might swap them for colour coded instead. |
