On count down to September for our SDV6 HSE Dynamic, took a massive leap of faith to order another LR after 13 months with an Evoque, the worst built car I have ever owned.

Little worrying all of RRS2 problems and rejected cars I read about, have been thinking of cancelling. LR are offering me an 'incentive' to stay with the brand after 15 years but not generous enough that I have to stay.

Had the same quality problem with my year old Evoque in March I gave up and bought an HSE Dynamic that the dealer had ordered for one of their staff as a company car and that was to be built on 19th March, I took delivery of it on 28th March, a year to the day that I drove the Evoque out of the same dealership. So far the only thing that has come to light with the RRS has been sloshing fuel in the tank at low speeds. It is my 3rd RRS, the 2nd was a 2007MY TDv8 that up to March was the best car I have ever owned and the best LR by miles, until now! I'm delighted with the RRS2 3.0lt 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Tony from babyrr.com, signed up to RRS eventually. We are both well experienced with problem Evoques and as you know I have had a good few days driving FFRR and the RRS2, both SDV6 versions and both were superb in refinement and build quality.

Guess I am getting cold feet at spending so much on another LR product when there appear to be some problem cars getting through QC at Solihul, Hailwood is appalling and I will never buy another of their builds.

A friend has just taken delivery of a BMW X4, only the cooking 2.0 diesel but it is really well put together. I could spec up a 3.5 M Sport with the same kit as the RRS I have on order and even considering the rubbish px BMW will give me its still £20k cheaper. Problem is the X4 along with the X6 has to be the ugliest BMW ever. Will see how things go, if the LR or the dealer throw in a delay, price rise or reduced px into the equation, then its by-by LR for good.

Car was built on Wednesday I have just learned, pity the salesman did not let me know as promissed. Build date was originally down as Friday so bit of a relief, last two cars were Friday build and both total dogs.

No should not take that long even to get through customs. I have to go into hospital again for another Zap (CV) and don't want to take delivery until after - if it all goes wrong and I don't re-boot the wife still has the money in the bank!
