1. Radar cruise control. You can live without that (and most 2.7's doesn't have this option in any spec anyway)

The fitting is stock I believe (all cars I've seen had it), so I assume most cars would be delivered with the actual hook in the trunk. Mine didn't (and the hook goes for around 200 quid, IIRC :/ ). I don't know about the electrics, but it would seem implausible to outfit the car with the hardware and not the electrics. It is possible that the actual connection, wires and power outlet, was a dealer-installed accessory but you'd have to ask someone who took delivery of a brand new RRS back in the time |

I had a 2.7 and it was supplied second hand with no tow ball but there was a slot in the tool kit for one.

Depends if you want speed and thirst or a bit slower and better fuel economy.
