2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 S Rimini Red

Highest ever device quote you've received?

So today I called to book my 05 sport in for its annual service, as I always do when the service indicator comes on.

Putting aside the atrocious customer service I received from the first member of staff I spoke to, I have officially had the highest service quote I have ever had for a car and I have been working as a fleet manager running a commercial fleet for years.

£990 for a service!!!

So what's the highest quote you've received?? Member of the Jersey Land Rover Owner Club

Good old Jacksons, atrocious customer service skills and equally shocking prices. Don't ya' just love living on this little rock sometimes !

Oh don't you just know it!
I have work mates who take their cars off island to get them serviced just so they can keep the manufacturers warranty just so they don't have to deal with jacksons lol Member of the Jersey Land Rover Owner Club

An 05 is up for the ten year service ( see my thread) 10year big service

I've just had mine done at an Indy as recommended by MJ87 on this forum quoted 660 all in. It takes a day to change all the fluids but the job was done on time and I'm happy with the result so far

My dealer wanted 950-1300 for the same service.

See this is where we're stuck, we have to use the dealership for service items to keep our extended warranty, luckily my belts have already been done and I have sevice plan for the standard annual service so it purely only the transmission fluids and other filters that need doing Member of the Jersey Land Rover Owner Club

Says who? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
