Remap is well worth it. Great engine but don't expect it to feel quick after a SC though.

You can expect the remap to improve power and torque (typically 35-40hp, 80-90Nm, IIRC) but don't expect to see any improvement in economy from it, as many don't - taking advantage of the extra power instead. It probably would help with economy if you try hard though. An uprated intercooler and de-cat pipe are also nice additions. |

My TDV6 has afforementioned decat, big intercooler, blanked EGRs, and a performance remap.

I use my TDV6 for cruising and very happy indeed with it. Sometimes I would like a little more power when showing off trying to outpace another guy at the lights/roundabout, but I'm sure a proper remap would do that. A mate of mine with a HST had a remap and said it was like night and day. Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project.

decided to keep big red after having a drive of the tdv6, it was nice as they all are but mrs monty wasnt impressed |
