hi, I took my RR sport to a company called formula first for a wheel alignment, when the (mechanic.. And I use that term lightly) started to set up I just wanted to confirm that he plugged it in and put it into tolerance mode or alignment mode. He looked at me as tho I was talking Chinese, anyway after explaining what I've read he plugged there machine in and went through the proses on screen, he found the suspension & wheel alignment mode went through it turning ignition on and off few times and starting car, at the end of proses the machine said the suspension was frozen mode so he carried on with the alignment and after about 25/30 min it was done, can anyone tell me if that is the correct process.

The machine he used was red and black looked like the snap on one.

Sounds overly complex. It's not what I'd describe as "frozen" either; it's just Tight Tolerance Mode (TTM), it doesn't stop it moving.
