can you adjust xenon beam on 2012 euro spec headlamps?

ive just picked up a pair of 2012 xenon facelift headlights. and didnt realise they were euro spec. the seller bought them for driving to france...

can i adjust them for uk spec? my current 2006 xenon lights have a lever inside to flip beam for touring...

i see you can manually adjust the light beam angles (two big white screws on back)

cheers

spence

As they are euro spec they will just have a flat beam so no problem , i have them on my uk LHD RRS. SVR 2018 in Santorini Black.

well that sounds ok to me.

just last night i was playing with the beam projection onto my garage dooor. my uk ones do seem to kick up to the left. and the euro seem to have a flat beam pattern (the horizontal beam line slightly steps up on the right but does not project a beam up to the right.)

just need to home i can get a UK MOT. !

You should keep your original set and put them back in at MOT time to avoid any hassles with the tester. A friend of mine lives in Brussels and has UK Spec TDV8 LHD but on UK plates and after some hassles now just presents the car for UK MOTs with a set of UK setup headlights whenever he comes back to the UK for the MOT. Saves lots of questions from testers. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
