About time... Lorek

I thought it was about time I posted some pics of my flying fridge, which I've named Lorek after the bear in the golden compass.

Things which I had done before / as i collected it:
Colour coding to door and bumper bottoms
Diamond turned 20" wheels recut and fitted
That was in December.
Since then it's had (under warranty with warranty direct) a drivers door latch, an air compressor, a tailgate latch, a supermarket dent pulled out of rear wheel arch.
A new screen due to quite a chip / crack from an aggregate truck

It currently needs..
A chip on the bonnet touching in
A chip on the wing filling and spraying
Road fodder cutting out of the sills and door edge
A Swssvax topup
Seat switch covers putting on (pics to follow)
Black range rover lettering putting on - silver ones have pitted (pics to follow
Exhaust finishers adding - need to get these
Side steps fitting - need to get these
Wheels... there are several options here, I haven't decided yet Wink
I'm going to 'piano black' some more external bits

So this is as it stands...

Thanks Smile Previous owner was in Aberdeen. Not that it's anywhere near you, I know, but same country at least! And it's going to Aberdeen on the 5th to take the god sons big sister to uni!

The question is... do I repaint the horizontal piece the number plate is on in piano black to match the grill?
Opinions please.

+1 Thumbs Up

Personally, I would also prefer the sills etc. in black. Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

it might be worth putting rubbing strips on the doors to break up the white as well. also helps stop some idiot marking your car when they park to close and as we all know theres always one even on an empty carpark. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

Black door handles would break it up nicely

Thanks guys. I'm having a good thing. I also nearly swapped it for a vantage last week.
