My brother in law has a new Disco and although all the switch gear looks the same as my MY10 RRS, there is new software for the sat nav and radio etc. Is it possible that this could be fitted in my vehicle? 3.0 HSE RRS Stornaway (current)

I'm in the same boat it's dog poo they can not be updated I would have thought if I went to main dealer when getting a map update they could update the system also, just another crap software issue adding to the rest sat nav etc, you would have thought paying these prices for cars they could have thought about it a bit more. Even my old x3 updated the screens via disc, I know this is HD but still without an option to better it,,,,same as the bloody mapping, maybe just the 2010-2011 were not the RRS s to get....cry over

2012 is Completely different modules and physical units seperate compared to the 2010/11
