Auto electrician fitted dedicated towing wiring harness to RRS 2009 also have the external module for LED light on trailer, the next thing to install is my prodigy 3 brake controller, if my RRS has the factory plug under dash drivers side thats easy to fit the brake controller but what about the wiring to the rear towbar harness how does the brake controller work from here is there extra wiring to be fitted through the 7 pin socket, Cheers

I thought the Brake controller cable was usually separate from the 7 pin, but

I have 7 pin with Electric brakes on my van. You would need to find out which 'pin' on the van 7 pin is for the electric brakes.
Then the output wire needs to be run from the Prodigy unit to the 7 pin socket on the RRS to match the van. (there may already a wire running to the white UK plug if you have one)
I had mine unit installed by Auto elec. as I was not to sure of picking up the correct wiring for unit.
The mounting was another issue due to lack of suitable places in an RRS and he suggested in the drivers footwell next to the centre console
They have to be level and although low its fine and not in the way.
