Removing Green Badge from Grill?

Hi Guys,

As above, has anyone removed the badge or figured out how to do it? I am at a loss as to why mine has the green badges....and I have purchased some of the black ones as I personally think they'll look better.

Thanks! 2014.5 Mariana Black 5.0 Supercharged V8 Autobiography

Hi very hard to get off with out damaging the grill, you could try hair dryer and a very tiny flat edge tool to prise it out. Personally they are stuck in for good. If your badge sits in a recess then I'd stick the new black over the green. You will never get out a badge in a recess with no damage to the plastic edge.

Damn, I was hoping that they were just snapped into the grill but that confirms it.

The new badge is not particularly flexible and I fear that it'd look awful Sad

Guess I am living with the green then! 2014.5 Mariana Black 5.0 Supercharged V8 Autobiography

The green badge would BUG me to death. I'd have to to try all attempts to get the black one in. Black will look much more modern and in keep with Range Rover. Thumbs Up

On the earlier cars, it's simply a case of putting a screw through the middle of the badge at an angle and then prising off. Any damage is covered up by the new badge. Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible

Thanks, I have had a black badge in the glove compartment for some time, but not been able to figure out how to remove the green one without damaging the grill. Looking forward to fixing it now. 2015 Range Rover Sport HSE TDV6, Corris Grey

OK will somebody tell me how I get my RRS2 as shiny as that one in Urban Automotive's pictures above. I am not a fan of black cars but that one is just fantastic Embarassed 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Hi guys, we are asked to do this very often and use this method:

Carefully drill a small pilot hole in the existing grille badge just deep enough to get a hooked bradawl inside, and simply pull the old badge off. This prevents any damage to the grille or the badge surround. Site sponsor and online seller of Range Rover Styling accessories and HAWKE Alloy wheels.
