275 / 40R22 will probably work,.
The problem is that they will not approve that size on my car here in Norway.
Roller diamterern is more than 5% compared to original
So I have too gove down too 35 profile for gettin it approved

Looking ahead after right size

How about 295/30? A few options there: http://www.tyreleader.co.uk/car-tyres-295-30-22/?s=W Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

I think 30 profile is too low , ..
More rubber with 35 profile . looks much more pretty on the car too

It is a little bit lower, but as it's a percentage of the width, it's not as bad as if it were a 265/30. I'm minded the same though - I don't like low sidewalls. Sadly though, I can't see that there's anything else available, so, it seems, your only other option would be a smaller set of "winter" wheels (which personally, I would favour).
