I posted the same question in Technical. My 2009 HSE squeaks like crazy. Just sitting still with engine running and stepping lightly on brake then gas, it squeaks (like you say) like bed springs. Any ideas from anybody?? mike murphy |

it could be that one of your brake calipers has siezed, i had a sqeeky sound on mine, and one of the rear pads ahd worn down to the metal, while the other pad, the one with the sensor on, had hardly worn at all, a gentle tap with a big hammer cured it 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater ))) |

Found out squeaking problem and its the front sway arm bushings which will be replaced next week. Didn't expect it on a 2009 with 25k miles. Oh well. It will be nice to have the car quiet again! mike murphy |

My old RRS used to make the same noises as described by the OP. Quite embarrassing when pulling up outside school etc as it sounded like I was driving a squeaky brass bedstead
