Hi all, my upper tailgate has started to open its self wether I'm parked up or driving, I've tried the battery disconnect for ten minutes but its still doing it.

Can anyone advise or help with any tips as to sort this out

easy fix mate just done it on mine, careful as it can run your battery flat. Water ingress kills the motor the garage showed me it and it was amazing! It costs 28 quid for the part, you could fix yourself or about 30 quid labour. I'm sure you can google it. 

Update, I'd noticed it was doing when the key was put in the ignition, so I checked it and all is ok, no corrosion no water , and everything was lined up up, so I tried this.

Closed all doors, then held the lock and open buttons down together, I noticed the door mirrors and seats moved then went back to origional position. And strangely it hasn't been misbehaving.
