you probably know better than than me mate ..but iv had a few sports and fitted 22s on all of them ,when fitted with 35 profile they cracked when fitted with 40s they didn't silverRRS 2.7 TDV6 22"WHEELS FULL COLOUR CODE,STEPS,REMAP..gone

I totally agree,,never have probs with 40's,,just cannot find 285/40r22's,I use 3 of the main tyre suppliers in the UK & none have that size.i can get 295/40r20's but at £200 a corner it's a bit expensive & I deal in tyres.

i think mine were 275/40/22 contis and never got a single crack,and i aint a pussy when I'm driving,they looked and drove great silverRRS 2.7 TDV6 22"WHEELS FULL COLOUR CODE,STEPS,REMAP..gone

Well I've ordered the Hawke Hermes today & ordered 4x295/40r22's Pirelli's,,I'll fit one of the tyres & fit the wheel to front & rear to see what clearance their is,,if it doesn't look right I'll go with the 275/40r20's.

just tried the 295/40r22's & their isn't much clearance at all so it looks like 285/35r22 or 275/40r22's decions decions

Eventually went for the 285/35R22 PIR SCORP ZERO 106W XL.
