What would be the reason exactly? A V6 (especially a diesel) would not really benefit from an exhaust upgrade in terms of sound, unless it's a free-flowing, unmuffled straight pipe. Have a moment with some sounds from a Lancia Stratos with a petrol V6, doesn't actually rob my heart and a turbocharged diesel would be only worse. Also, close to zero performance improvements. Regards etc.,

There may only be small performance gains to be had (which may be worthwhile in combination with other mods), but in terms of sound, there certainly will be a difference - much as is the case with the 2.7 version, of which there are videos available. Thumbs Up

Andy, maybe you need to be the first to provide one... Mr. Green Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

You need two extra cylinders for that... Whistle

Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Guess you missed the rest of this thread, as you posted on it: http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic39891.html Thumbs Up

I would suggest though, that a remap might be a better way to spend your money first (should be able to take you over 300hp Whistle ). Wink Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

I think lost for words is being very optimistic more like 230/240 with a remap. If you want over 300 then you need a TDV8 if you want more then it's the supercharged Thumbs Up 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

I'm not. The 3.0 in the RRS-2 (still basically the same engine) produces over 300hp from the factory. Cool
