Well, it can be done, but is bit more involved than just activating it(I haven't tried myself)

I converted my diesel RRS to run on an environmentally friendly mixture of caribou fat and baby seals oil

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Buckingham Blue

Yes it is possible as iv seen this done before,
Iv been told there's a ignition live that lives in the rand hand side by the front bumper, it needs to be somehow wired up the headlights ( dim lights )
So afterwards it should just come on as soon as the ignitions on.

Havnt done this myself but have seen it on a few cars that have done it.

This is definitely something I want to do, love the look of the front LED's, but I need to do this in a way where it won't be picked up by LR and void my warranty.

I know that's the obvious solution, but for some reason I really want them coming on automatically without the rear lights!

Rolling with laughter Scandinavian - Canadian markets dictate DRL`S are part of the vehicle spec & have been for a few years. I recently enquired about the fitting of the OEM lower bumper DRL`s through a stealer. I was advised another ECU needed to be fitted to comminicate with the electrical system to enable the lights to work even after fitting - maybe we are making this too difficult - could it be as simple as changing an ECU.
