Hello folks,
Wondering if anyone can assist me with a small issue that has developed on my range rover sport.
The rear gas struts on my 2012 range rover sport seem to be playing up?
The door has started to make a noise coming from the right hand strut and will sometimes stop the door closing fully.
There seems to be a little rust around the rubber seal on the strut.
Does anyone know where i can purchase a replacement for this strut. Preferably not a dealer.

They are not that expensive, even from a dealer.

Going to assume you are just out of warranty?

out of warranty in April.
These struts are part of the door closing system. I assume they are electric hydraulic struts. I thought they would be expensive from the dealer will give them a call in the morning and see what the cost is to replace.
I have auto glass due for a visit next week to attempt a repair or replacement. Had a bit od a wrangle with my insurance on the fitting of none oem window..
Elephant insurance first time we have made a claim in a very very long time. And nothing but grief.
Have changed my insurance to privelliage but I'm sure they are all the same?

The Powered Ones are about £150.00 each. I think they are LR062078

Ah, yes. If they are electric, then they will be fairly expensive. £155 each
