Scotland 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Fuji White

Well some progress on Sat,

The all new SVR build was gone through for the draft with the dealer, all mods will be done directly with SVO, with coms to myself directly, so no dealer screw ups possible Thumbs Up

Now still waiting for LR to confirm they cannot fix the car to allow rejection to move forward and build slot and refunds to begin!!

That leaves £5k of accessories to reimbursed Banging Head Banging Head Banging Head Banging Head Banging Head Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

Away back to work for 5 weeks, so now they can wine at no progress as the loaner is now fixed in the wife's possession for use.

Saw a 2016 sport in dealers with new seat controls and other sutile changes..... None currently

Looking for interior pics of SVR leather combos you peeps have got for assistance, base will be ebony though, I know no light colours as they mark and discolour terribly on any motor!

So far I am looking for this as it looks great cheers the creator!

Colours on the SVR are limited - black with black, light grey, bright red or mid-brown. I have black/black and am very happy with it. What exterior colour are you having? Also affecting the interior appearance is the roof lining and what sort or roof you have.

Do you think the dealer will pay for £5k of after-market accessories?

What would your reaction be if they called and said the car is fixed? Mark

Having the Blue as it's what I always liked for exterior

Roof will be sliding panoramic with ebony lining, as got a cirrus roof in the FFRR loner and to much glare with all that light colour and the roof

Car is officially declined in writing with the finance company so not my problem now

Getting my outlay covered is though, as I not going to be out of pocket, or the car will have all toys removed and dealer can buy replacement panels at his cost to fill all the holes

Might see if I can get lunar on the dash and door cards to break it up subtly None currently

Have to say I'm impressed that after a very bad ownership experience with the current RRS, you're going for both the same basic car and buying from the same dealer. I know the SVR doesn't have a DPF but even so... Mark

From same dealer is not so much an issue as the SVO deal direct with me on the final build spec, they do the PDI and hand over, with LR guiding them hopefully!!

As the car is really done by SVO, I have no real issues with it getting built, lets face it, the RRS 14.5 was just a lemon and they do exists and you can not fix a lemon it just one of those cars, no point getting upset, just get hopefully a acceptance from LR and the dealer and replace it asap. Thumbs Up

Financial loss is not an option though as compensation is what should occur for the last 3 1/2 months of grief None currently

Wouldn't that be your responsibility (i.e. what state was the car in that you bought? What have you done post purchase?) Depends on what the finance arrangement was I suppose.

Being creative with SVO is great fun. I wanted to do other things with the seats (materials) but I love them and the colour combination. The Cirrus headlining and dash with the pano roof and no privacy glass give the car a wonderful airy and bright feeling.

Wonderful car.

Good luck with this one!

I am already thinking of one before I have even received my normal one. I just like the noise so much. I used to own a TVR in my youth and reminds me of that but better and more grown up Very Happy MY16 3.0 SDV6 Autobiography in Aleutian silver, stealth pack and toys.

The SVR is built on the same line as the normal car, so is that 1000 the cars that then go on to have some SVO unique customisation?

We'll never know of course, but it would be interesting to know how production for the SC AB has changed at the same time. Things like seat configuration and RSE will push some towards the SC AB but for most, I would have thought that the price difference doesn't matter and there's a feeling of the SC AB being second best.

I assume these are not all for the UK otherwise three years down the road, the market is going to be awash with them. Judging by the reaction to mine at Eastnor yesterday, they are still a rare beast here. Mark

The Jaguar side of JLR must be fuming that they build a 5.0l V8 S/C AWD F Type with the same engine as the RRS SC and SVR that almost nobody wants to buy (just take a look at how even dealer demo cars devalue on the Jaguar Approved website listing) but the LR side puts the same motor into an SUV and can sell every one they can make even at well over the cost of the F Type R! Could the practical nature of a 5 seater hatchback be a better bet than a 2 seat, hardly any boot space sports car these days? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

1000 SVRs not 1000 SVO bespokes. I doubt production has increased dramatically so would assume that the AB builds have reduced proportionately.

What are you having done?

An SVO version of the F-Pace will correct this.

1000 units worldwide boys, most have been loaded with only a few bare SVR standard spec.

Will advise my list once set in stone with flexibility on adding 2016.5 build spec once released Rolling with laughter None currently
