You are very lucky . On Land Rover approved used cars website there are only 3 2011 RRS under £30,000 and out of those there is a Santorini Black HSE with limited spec on 61,000 miles at £28,226. That seems to be the cheapest one in the country. I guess you may be one hell of a negotiator , work for Land Rover or have bought a car with star ship miles . What ever the case as long as you are happy with it then all good but to price other cars against it would bring RRS prices crashing I guess if you tried to buy that car again today you would struggle. |

I don't know anyone who works for landrover, my cars was in the autotrader for £25850 from Colliers landrover. When I got to Colliers it was on the forecourt with £28000 in the window. They agreed to the £25850 price no arguing needed. It was right at the end of the month so maybe they needed to hit targets? The car has done 70k miles.

So i guess what your saying is that the dealer you brought the car from made a mistake in their advertising. They then agreed to honour their mistake and let you have a £28,000 car for £25,850. I hope you can see the point i am making in that just because you managed to find an exceptionally priced car with a unusually high level of extras it doesn’t mean every other RRS can be priced against it. If you wanted to buy that car today from a Land Rover main agent with the spec you have described i guess you would be parting with £28,000 plus, even with 70k on the clock.

I'm not sure it was a mistake as it was advertised in a few places online for £25850. But still had the £28000 price on the actual car. I also apologise for thread hi-jack. |

Another consideration when selling your RRS is in 12 months time there will be RRS-2's for 40k probably less. The RRS-2 has and will continue to hurt the price of the RRS.

TDV8 are normally a bit cheaper than TDV6 Is that the car you bought on your Gallery? It looks very nice but front bumper is not Autobiography, its Pre 2009. Have a look in my gallery itisme |
