The steering wheel buttons are there, but I can not give any voice commands (the system asks for a command and after listening for a couple of seconds it says "no speech detected". At the same time, the car is not visible from the bluetooth menu on the phone (iPhone 5 FWWV). I don't know exactly what to look for under the flap on the right side of the trunk, but I assume the whole microphone/BT/phone subsystem is missing or bust. What are my options? Regards etc.,

Black module with a hole in the centre for the screw. One large connector with lots of wires, one small connector with two orange cables coming out of it. Bodsys Brake Bible

I looked hard and didn't find it, so it somehow answers the question. Now I've found three modules on our local Ebay equivalent and they are XVJ500280, XVJ500045 and the third one doesn't follow this numbering and is identified with Type: RX-1M and HW: 1100. Which one to buy? Or should I buy a Mobridge solution that is roughly 10 times as expensive? Regards etc.,

So mine is definitely "not there" as in "somebody has removed it". OK. Which is the one to buy (I wouldn't want to stumble on the one that needs entering "2121" all the time, or the messy "0000" dealer-installed one). Regards etc.,
