Up rating parking sensors on a 2005 range sport

Hi I'm in the process of fitting a 2012 autobiography kit to my 2005 Range Rover sport my question is about the parking sensors.ive purchased 8 2012 parking sensors but the connections on the existing loom are different.ive seen that you can buy the replacement wiring harness.is there any chance that I could keep the existing loom and chop the old connections off and replace with the new connections?if this is possible does anybody know where I could source the connections I need from and what they are actually called?
Thanks

Welcome to the forum Thumbs Up in all the years I've been on here & after doing the conversion myself ( see black Sport in my gallery ) i haven't known anyone successfully do what your trying to achieve - why not just buy the new looms ( the older looms tend to fail eventually due to there positioning on the motor ) that way you'll get many more years of trouble free parking Laughing

Let us all know how you get on Thumbs Up 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

As Peachy says, better to fit new looms, once you start chopping cables and joining them you are asking for more problems when water starts to get into the joins Thumbs Up 2006 4.2 Supercharged Buckingham blue
