I think it doesn't work because there are too many colours in the interior - Black, Pimento, White pipng and Ivory headlining. Might have been better to have gone for the Ebony headliner and reduced the colour count. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

All these cars have been on sale between £110-115k for the past month or so with no takers...these prices are surely not being paid. The cheapest one on sale is around £104k and thats also been in sale 2 weeks now. Will be interesting to see how these dealers behave in another 8 weeks time?

I think red and blue is an absolute no-no in any case; the pimento (if it was the right shade of red which for me it isn't) would work with white/black/grey/silver. It doesn't work IMHO with red and especially not blue.

Pimento is an apt name, it's very bright. I have a Mercedes with an interior colour they used to call Berry Red, the colour of raspberries and for me, that is rather more restrained.

I have no feel at all how demand for the SVR is holding up after the initial rush. I've only seen one other on the road, in Switzerland and that was a black one I think. TBH, anyone paying a premium for one will probably regret it in the future.

Still, my SVR is a keeper, I'm thoroughly enjoying mine. It will be interesting to see if it is carried over when there is a cosmetic facelift of the L494 in a year or two. Mark
