Made a claim for a wheel bearing on Tuesday, it was approved straight away. Sent mot etc to them and I received the cheque today. I know it was only a small claim but I was quite impressed. The hardest part was the garage as they didn't believe it covered wear and tear and it took some convincing for the garage to call them, also they wouldn't let warranty direct pay them direct.

I also got a wheel bearing paid for, and a set of front drop links, new inter cooler and new alternator. Great company

They have been good to me so far .made 2 claims ,total of £500 ish .paid out within a week,but in doubt to renew with them next month as RRSMike is having trouble with a claim.My question :-is there any company out there any better,warranty wise have bad feedback on here .Be interesting to see the numbers of forum members who are with which company.maybe get extra discount?yeh never know!!!!!!!!!

Warranty Direct are one of the best warranty companies in terms of paying out, and also very, very easy for the repairing garage to deal with

If you call them and haggle they will reduce the premium. Mine was £680, which is paid in 4 instalments. I've got a 56 plate with 84k on the clock.

Just tonight I got a call back - £670 for 13 months.

£265 for 12 months on the Extra Care Lite Policy ????

£1067 for 12 months 09 plate with 44k miles. Full history. Would probably take it if it was cheaper.

i ignored the quote and waited for the phone to ring. sure enough they rang me but unfortunately I was a bit busy so im expecting a call on Monday. Girl said they wanted to ensure they had the correct details so they could tailor a more accurate quote, ie offer me something cheaper. If theyd go 750 id get it for the peace of mind. Its a better system than the RAC platinum I have I reckon. Lets see what they come back with. Anyway, looks like I need to buy a tyre to match the other 3 and also my brembos need a decent refurb to look nice again. Where does it end? I sold my evo and said never will I mod again. I traded my VXR for this RRS and said no more mods. Oh well.

ps, loving the car so far and averaging 28mpg which is 3mpg better than my vxr!!!!!
