Hi guys, I still seem to be having the same "low end" power loss and smoke issues. Any suggestions? Maybe the dreaded crossover pipe? Any suggestions most welcome.
Thanks in advance.

What Rev range is the smoke issue at? I'm following this as I have the same issues, but don't want to hijack the post or duplicate it again with my own issues.

Mine occur at 3000rpm+, and I find it's worse when in normal driving mode than in sport mode. Travelling at 80-90 with Revs over 3000 isn't an issue, it's the build up to the speed going through the gears.

I like yourself have had the EGR's blanked, and I also have a new MAF unit. 2006 HSE for Sale - £7,499 (Manchester)

The problem for me is at the lower end, rolling up to junctions and pulling away, it seems to take an age to pick up then does with a bit of clout and I am leaving my fellow road users in a cloud of thick black smog... Smoke isn't a problem normal driving just the lower end of the Rev counter. Becoming bloody painful.. Out and About

I have a similar delay at the low end, both a bit of a surge, but not as dramatic as yours it seems. I did a "soft gearbox reset" a few months back which seemed to cure it for a while, but it's gradually getting worse.

I'm getting a flush & hard reset from Mike in July so it should fix that issue for myself. Have you had the flush & reset? 2006 HSE for Sale - £7,499 (Manchester)
