Fan behind glove box??

hi guys

i have recently replaced my oil cooler radiator (front one) and now i have a fan noise behind my glove box?? its in a supercharged 07 plate? has anyone any ideas why this is going all the time? also.... when I'm driving i can hear (what i assume is the main fan) kick in quite often??the temp gauge doesn't look to be over heating? it seems to be one thing after another Sad

thanks for any feedback

The fan behind the glovebox is the heater blower so is to be expected. It can get noisy if the bearing goes (sometimes due to water ingress). Mine has started to whine a bit.

It's quite normal for the engine fan to come on at times, it's there to control the enigne temperature well before it gets to the point of overheating. It can also be controlled by the HVAC system. In part, you also won't see the coolant temperature changes as the guage is "normalised".

The engine and transfer box ECU cooling fan is behind the glovebox but it's in the engine bay so shouldn't be audible from the cabin. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
