Hi all. Great forum. I'm a newbie looking to getting a 2014 L494 and am weighing up the 3.0 and 4.4 diesel cars. I just wondered, are there any visual differences to either the interior or exterior between these two versions? Of the car? Also I don't believe the engines are badged externally - is this correct?

No visual differences, but I think there is a badge (below the "SPORT") on the rear on the HSE version, this notes: "HSE SDV6" or "HSE SDV8".
On the Autobiography I am not sure, but I think there is only an "AUTOBIOGRAPHY" badge on the rear, without the engine information.

Is it important for you to tell the Power of your car? I remove always the Badges, or order my cars without them.
Only on my Hybrid I kept it for the moment...

Hi many thanks for the reply. It's not important to have the info on display - actually I'm quite a fan of the anonymous look as I hate loads of badges etc. just wondering if exhausts etc are different between the two as I can't tell them apart.

Yes, the Exhaust tips for SDV6 and SDV8 are the same.
For the V6 and V8 Supercharged they are different.

The tips maybe the same but the exhaust is diffrent though None currently

And there are no, except under the car and under the bonnet.
Thought it is clear for all that so different engines are running with technical different exhaust constructions...
