Squeaky Dash Pad

Had mine about a week now and every time, possibly until it warms up, the dash pad (bit with the push start and across screen and both vents) squeaks for about 10-15 mins. Having had not a peep from any other RR's even my 9 year old D3 was perfect why I am I getting this Sad is it a common problem. No evidence in its previous history with LR of having had any 'dash off' work.
Tried a bit of silicon spray along the top but still there. Any ideas Idea

Definitely a heat thing, creaked this morning Big Cry then out again at 4ish after being in sun all day and no creaking Smile
Surely this cannot be a common problem, anyone had the same problem or know if possible to easily remove pad below the vents and screen.

Hi not known of any other issues, but the part your concerned about is very easily removed. Open the top glovebox and pull the left side of the dash ( centre part ) carefully pull out and lever it and it will come out. Only held in with clips. Thumbs Up you maybe be able to stick some sticky pads behind to stop any rubbing or vibration.

Yeah Surprised as simple as that Very Happy
Thank you, need to go out and have a look. Still cannot believe, so is it almost just a friction fit. Any chance of breaking the clips or is it just a case of carefully easing off from the glove box side.
Fell elated, cannot believe, guess after your mammoth conversion this is minor issue. Strangely enough did review your build this morning, the ivory and black looks fantastic Thumbs Up one we'll done job.

ALWAYS use a plastic paint scraper, blade , spatula or wedge when removing any trim items, never a screwdriver.

Noted, thank you. Had a quick look and it will need a spatula type implement to lift off. Assume the switches and start button on the panel will have cables long enough to lift the panel off but not accidentally disconnect them.
Thought of a silicon spray behind on the two surfaces to stop the squeak Question

There is enough cable to pull off and disconnect the plug which feeds clock, start stop and other buttons. The clips won't break you'll be OK. Thumbs Up
