I saw a youtube video from a South African chap who tried out the idea of running the low profile tyres at high pressures. The idea being that the high pressures help to prevent tyre wall pinching when going over rocks. In his test it worked ok on a D4. Quick search later, here's the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a81JPyo7J50 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

Get yourself down to Salisbury Plain - not a tree or a bush in sight - well very very few I've got it mapped - might take the Sport over some of the gentler stuff one day....... Its not an easy place to navigate - lots of research and a digitial GPS map helps a lot - it's a minefield...literally! Visitor from fullfatrr.com * GONE. 2012 RR Sport HSE SDV6 Orkney Grey. Here's a better side shot. We're actually going to Kielder tonight, to do their 4X4 safari. Saw a feature on it in LR magazine. Looks like it should be a good day out, although quite tame compared to the Dales green lanes!
