I ran them quite high. Cant remember from memory, but it was the amount recommended for being fully loaded in the door pillar. That was on the recommendation of the guy running the outing to try and protect the rims.

taking the 275 40 20"s off to save for best

plenty of choice for a set of wheels less than £150 and I have some ATR's left from my D3 days so just had them fitted to the wheels, got to get around to putting them on the car now

L/R fitted the 255 55 19 to the early G4 RRS ISTR so they have sort of been standard fit size as well

well done for using the car off tarmac, if only the lanes were wider think more would do

Got the wheels last week and the tyres fitted today.

Pleased with them - the ride quality is a lot better than the 20's and the Coopers are quieter than the Grabbers. Must admit the sidewall protection doesn't look as substantial as I expected, but at least now I have a decent amount of sidewall to protect the rim!

I'll be getting the 20's reconditioned with some road rubber for when I sell it in a few years.

Here's a better side shot. We're actually going to Kielder tonight, to do their 4X4 safari. Saw a feature on it in LR magazine. Looks like it should be a good day out, although quite tame compared to the Dales green lanes!
