No worries Peter, I'm waiting on delivery of the wiring loom so will get a quote on postage as soon as I can put it all together in the same parcel. |

Well Sparky came out with these lights and I had to try them. I have an unfinished thread regarding my angel eye modification and the reason why it's unfinished is because I was unhappy with the results. Sparky showed me the pics of his new rings and it gave me back the inspiration that I lost for the project. So I re-opened up the headlights and the result is as follows:
These are better than the dabhees ones in my opinion. There are far fewer resistors, just one for each led in fact, as opposed to the 9 or 10 in total on the dabhees rings. Whatsmore on Sparkys rings the resistors are hidden on the back surface, away from view. On the Dabhees rings the resistors are in full view and therefore aren't so aesthetically pleasing. Finally the finish on the ring, almost a black carbon effect, is very very nice indeed. I'm going to have to take a close up day shot. Overall better than Dabhees rings. That's my opinion anyway. Thank you Sparky! Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project. DONE: Meduza front bumper, AB rear bumper, AB tailpipes, calipers repainted, rear upper tailgate upgrade, side steps, AB front grille, AB side vents, rear LED lights, clear side repeaters, integrated daytime running lights, LED headlights. TO DO: color code sills and pillars. |

I used a Java Black Land Rover color, keyed and primed of course first, then used a lacquer to finish off.
