As title ,,any common areas i should look for its a supercharged 06

Front condenser. Get it checked with an AC specialist. They inject a UV dye, which flows under a UV light, highlighting any leaks

EDIT: If it has rear AC, they leak near the rear axle. Cheaper and easier to blank off the rear AC

Hi,

Sorry for hijacking your post but same issue here.

Getting AC re gassed last week and was informed that I have a leak somewhere. Advised AC specialist to inject UV dye into system to source the leak.

Have checked some reviews of local companies but most are fairly negative.

Does anyone have any experiences of AC specialists in South Wales ?

Don't want to get turned over as I can see this being a hefty expense if not dealt with correctly.

On my 06 RRS 2.7 I had an issue after the dealer talked me into an air con service whilst it was in for other work.
Within a week I had no aircon. I took it back and all they wanted to do was charge me for investigation so took it to a LR specialist indi who tracked the fault down to the filler valve (which the dealer disturbed) New Valve fitted and been fine ever since.

Stones like to crack the condenser radiator.... 5.0 Ltr Superchrged RRS2, Chile Red, Sideways out of junctions!
TDV8 HST Stornaway on a 08.. remapped.. now gone and replaced, was a mighty fine car..
