Obviously the wife does not read this Shocked

Had a USB stick go through the wash. Put a towel on top of a radiator, sat the USB stick on it and left it there for 3 days. Worked a treat. It has to dry out slowly and naturally.

She was punishing you for not doing it properly. It takes at least 8 hours if you do it properly Very Happy

My neighbours cannot understand how I can spend 8 hours cleaning my car and still say it is not finished!

Re Keys. Take the battery out and dry as much as you can and stick it in a sealed jar of uncooked rice. The rice absorbs the water, good for phones too. Keep sealed for a few days and voila! MY16 3.0 SDV6 Autobiography in Aleutian silver, stealth pack and toys.

Last time my wife washed my keys I had to get a replacement...

Got back from the dealer having bought a RS6, having only gone in for a key!

Suffice to say, she hasn't washed my keys since!

Most important is to take out the battery...

Especially true if you drop it in sea water, get the battery out ASAP and rinse in fresh water. Mark
