Barolo Black

Hi all

I've a new sport on order. It's Barolo black. I've gone off the colour recently as having seeni t on a used car in a show room I find it pretty much indistinguishable from black.

My dealer is encouraging me to stick with it - I have just a few days to lock down my spec.

Could anyone who has a Barolo Black vehicle possibly send me a few photos and any comments on their experience of the colour?

I'm thinking Marianna Black or Carpathian Grey might be better choices.

Ignore your dealer. His opinion is irrelevant. The only way you will be happy with your decision is if you go and look at all the different colours in the flesh. Photos rarely reflect colours accurately. I spent ages at the dealer looking at the cars they had in stock until I found the colour I wanted. Obviously if you are looking for a rare off the wall colour this may be harder but given your choices are going to be pretty common I'd be surprised if your local dealer doesn't have examples on the premises.

I think the Marianna black is a great black , blue/black . We drove about 140 mile round trip to see causway grey , chose it , then they stopped it .

I have heard Barolo Black is very 'soft' and scratches easily. Swirl marks are also easily visible.
