Has anyone done it with a black RRS and silver strip?

I've fitted the kit, great idea but im not pleased with the overall fit, the top of the panel is 14mm higher than it needs to be. Or have i just got a mishapen panel?

Mine is level just try to push it down then do all the screws up.

My original lettering around the car was silver not chrome so I wanted to keep it uniform.

Finished job, happy I moved the letters higher too, contemplating making the 2012 silver strip black to match the badges

I'm new here and looking on eBay there are 3 or 4 suppliers of this tailgate upper conversion.
Can anybody give me some advise on what kit from which company is best please?

There seems to be two variations on the tailgate conversion, one is the one I have which is from powerful uk which comes in 3 pieces and looks okay after some butchering and involves removal of all the upper tailgate trims (see the youtube video).

The other ive seen is from fastline styling which is a one piece kit that screws straight onto the plastic undercarriage with less hassle, however look closely at the photos for this, as some with the white sport are in fact the newer one piece electric tailgate.

Or if your lucky you might find a 2012 tailgate at the breakers and bolt that straight on, just need to a decent auto electrician to sort the electrics

Theres a company called gbt-vdubz selling the same kit as powerful for £165.

Just need to choose the trim colour, either titanium silver (more original look) or chrome then get the top part colour coded Range Rover Sport 2010 3.6TDV8 HSE Santorini Black

Ok, cheers for that. So if I buy it from GBT the RANGE ROVER lettering available from Powerful will fit I guess??

Yep the powerful lettering will fit fine, there are cheaper suppliers available, I've seen the titanium silver lettering for £10-15 but powerful supplys the curved template with theirs, meaning you can fit the letters whilst having a brew at the same time  Range Rover Sport 2010 3.6TDV8 HSE Santorini Black
