Door lock

Today i noticed that my car wasnt locking properly on the initial attempt. eventually it did lock from the button on the handle. Is there any other way of locking the car, when it plays up. Just spent the last 2hrs trying to lock the car. Does this sound like i need to change the lock if so which one should i change? Current 2010 Range Rover Sport HSE with the usual toys: timed climate, Rosen headrest screens, tow bar with twin electrics, Blackvue HD cam

Do you mean 1 door is playing up or all the doors ? If just the 1 then that lock needs changing as the actuator is weak, the lock/actuator is one piece. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

Just had this happen to me - the driver's door in my case. New lock fitted to solve the problem; thankfully, in this case, it's not a big bill item.

You can lock the door using the inside handle, then holding the outside handle open slam the door. This worked for my MY08.
Alternatively reach across the from the passenger's side and flip the lock from the inside and then lock the rest of the car using the key plip.

Obviously make sure you have your keys in your pocket before you try! 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

If i press the button on any of the handles it sounds like its locked, but the second press does nothing then it beeps at me.
If i use the fob i get the same thing happen, and no mirrors fold in
I get the following codes come up with the Diagnostic tool,
