caravan towing

Has anyone here had to do a test to tow a caravan? If so what was involved.

I didn't pass my test til 2003 so I'm not entitled to tow

Hi,
I was in the same position.
I did my B+E last November.
Did a 3day intensive (3 hours per day) then did the test at the end.
Passed first time with 2 minors.

Consists of
1.) hitching/unhitching.
2.) some questions- about the vehicle/loads etc.
3.) a reverse manoeuvre.
4.) about an hour of general driving.

I went to a place called "deepdale off-roading" in Barnard Castle.
The towing vehicle was a nasty D2.
However, the dedicated instruction was superb.
Id definitely recommend seeking the advice from a seasoned B+E instructor.
Total cost including test fee was just under £600 inc VAT.
Good luck!
MM
