You can change the shortcuts on the Home Screen by pressing the SETUP button (LH side menu, second from top) and then SYSTEM and HOME SCREEN SHORTCUTS. You can only have three so you need to un-highight what you don't want to make room for what you do.

Conversation Assist only comes with the high-end Meridian audio system. I like the feature but it's not reason enough to spend £4k on it. The excellent sound quality, the best I've ever heard in a car, is.

Ahh the issue may be I have the incontrol apps. No don't have the option home screen shortcuts. That is pretty poor programming in my humble opinion. Thanks for the other comments re conversation assistance. I dont have the 4k system so that explains that. Thanks all. |

Well, that's InControl Apps for you. A geekish flight of fancy which fails to deliver. Can't really see what you can do with it that you can't do on the iPhone which needs to be attached. The user interface is glacially slow. If there was an easy way to remove it, I would. Mark

Agree. Don't even need it to control the music from my iPhone. I have the apple Watch and Siri plays what I want.

Sorry, didn't mean you're the geek. I can imagine someone in JLR promoting it as the Next Best Thing and it's fallen way short of useful. Mark
