I guess the VIN was in the range if they are paying for it!

I called to see if there was any outstanding recalls and they checked the database with my VIN no.

Land Rover have had my vehicle 9 days now after agreeing that the fault was the brake servo. First they said that the recall was outstanding (which prompted me to book it in) and then a few days after them having the vehicle I received a call to say that the recall work had been done previously. Very strange. They have the parts but are waiting for LR Customer Services to agree payment apparently. Should it really be taking this long?

I'd bet that they've been lazy and checked against the reg. no. rather than the VIN. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Just the the car back tonight following the work and I have taken it out for a test drive. First thing I have noticed is that the cruise control buttons on the steering wheel are now not working. Is there a plug to check possibly which they may have disturbed? |

I suspect that they've trapped the wiring in behind the airbag and it's crimped or cut the cable.

Checked things over around the servo, turned the ignition on and hey presto the cruise control is now working. Are these machines built to frustrate?
