United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Santorini Black
Front bushes worn - 800 quid?

I just had a coolant bottle replaced and whilst in the garage (Indy RR garage - pretty good usually).

They gave me some advisories, one of them was extremely worn front bushes.
The quote to replace same, at next service, is in the region of £800-00, as they say its the entire arms that are required, as they do not come as just the bushes.

Apologies if my explanation is poor but that is how it was put to me.

My car is a RR Sport 3.6 2007 model with 100 k on the clock.

Any advice would be welcomed,

Thanks in advance.

Depends which bushes they are proposing to replace.

If it is only the front lower arms then it sounds a bit expensive since these are £100 per side plus 2 hours labour.

If it is upper and lower arms and antiroll bar bushes and a few ball joints and drop links then maybe not so bad? 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

£800 for just the lower arms is main dealer money! As Paddi says, if it's upper and lower arms then probably not a bad deal. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
