Egr blank and eml on!!

Hi guys
My mate has done a egr valve blank (just put 2 pieces of steel over holes which were brought off ebay) on his rrs 06 tdv6 did exactly on the how to manual on the site
Removing pipes and butterfly flap etc put it back together and is getting a eml on dash?!
Didn't think the 05-06 rrs mod on the egr throw up any fault lights??
Can this be cleared with obd code reader and erased so light goes out??

I'm planning on doing mine in next few days aswell same car a d year 06 and just want to know why is happened

Is his VIN 6A though?

it might be an 06 registered car, but I suspect that his VIN has 7A, not 6A in it.... Bodsys Brake Bible

EU4 models (07MY) need a software patch to turn the EML off Thumbs Up

Speak to Alive Tuning, they can put you in touch with their nearest authorised dealer, and get the the light turned off Thumbs Up

Yeah it's a 7A Rolling Eyes guess he'll need to get a software patch
Ive checked mine and it's 6A so mine should be ok I'm guessing ??
