Creaking Front Suspension - AGAIN!!

Ok, before anybody suggests doing a search I have and the only results that come back are replace bushes and/ or various oil seals on the ARBs etc...

This I don't need. My Sport was inspected by my garage and the ARB bushes replaced as they were worn, all other bushes like the LCA bushes are in good order. However, they still "creak" especially at slow speeds Censored

So unless I spend lots of good money to replace in order bushes, which is a waste of cash, is there another solution?? Surely there is some kind of grease that can be applied to prevent the creaking? Somebody mentioned good quality lithium grease? Would this work/ last? If so any recommendations on what to get as the garage what need to import it....

Cheers

Thanks for the email Bopbby Thumbs Up Spoke to the garage about this when I tried to getthe AC fixed. It seems they new about it as the Bosses 2012 RRS had the same problem recently... However, they were put off from doing anything because it took the local LR dealer 3 days to fix the problem at great cost.

Showed them the info you sent me and the estimated fix time of 1 hour for the SC and they said they'd look at it next time Smile

Thanks again for the help.

Regards

Hi Guyzer73
Hmm... Just come across this post, could be the saviour iv been looking for, for the past few months,
Sounds exactly like what my car is doing, and it is very annoying, especially not knowing what it is thats causing the noise at low speeds.

I tend to give it abit more acceleration just so people stop looking at me like the building beside them is falling down Rolling Eyes
Iv got a 2008 tdv8, been told by a mechanic its the anti-roll bar bushes, but somehow i doubt it very much it is.

I would greatly appreciate it if you'd direct me in thd right way about this as to what it could be, and iv you've had any luck sorting it out?

Mine also creaks at low speed going around a corner, for example turning into my drive. What can I do/
Is it a visit to the dealer and would it be covered by the LR extended warranty. 3.0 HSE RRS Stornaway (current)

Sorry Guys,

I've had a look and I've deleted old PMs so have no record of Bobby's PM Confused

From what I recall it has something to do with redesigned bushes, but can't be 100% certain on that.

Other things I've been told are it could be worn old suspension dampers.

I've just had the LCA bushes changed recently and gone from a major squeak to an intermittent one, so will be following up with the ACR and dampers...

Good Luck!!

Cheers
