The EGR valve is not part of the MOT. As long as the exhaust smoke is within its prescribed limits, it will pass, regardless of whether the EGR has been blanked or not |

Hi Mikey, does the smoke increase if the EGR valves are blanked ? (2.7 v6) cheers 2007, HSE, Cairnes Blue, Factory tints, Love it !!! |

Interesting. I was under the impression that EGR operation was now checked electronically. Not sure where I got that from though... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

According to my test station I use, it is coming, they will start to put a tester on it to see the actual valves working.

Nothing has been announced by VOSA about EGR blanking or removal
